The logo represents my love for Alice in Wonderland but it also represents me as a person. The white rose represents my pure heart and my love for all human beings. The white rose also represents my spirituality, my strength, and the representation of my ideas of true love. The red painted onto the rose represents my struggle to stay pure hearted and strong through the issues and hard times in my life. The red represents that I have had struggles in my life and they have left marks on me. Then the red fans out into hearts, which represents that my struggles eventually fade away into memories and life-lessons that I can learn from and be thankful for. The reason I chose the rose to be inside of an oval and make the background transparent is because not only do I like the way it looks, but it also represents my old soul and love for vintage things. Ovals, to me, represent old-time photos and portraits. Thus giving my logo a clean, modern look, but also giving it an vintage look.
My process to making this logo was first, I thought up a few ides of what I would like to put in my logo and ended up struggling with that, so I began making another Alice in Wonderland poster and thought it looked good as a logo. I decided not to draw multiple sketches or designs of my logo because I liked it just as it was the first time I made it. And since I wasn't working with a client and in this instance I, myself, was the client, I decided I liked my logo just the way it was. I didn't feel like it needed improvement or revising. I also did no research because I don't need to research my own story. I know who I am and this logo is me.
